Invocations

Invocations are “Calls for Attention” from the Latin word invocare.

They are prayers, blessings, gratitude, mediations, and requests for guidance, healing, empowerment, protection, inspiration and assistance.

Invocations are communications with Higher Powers usually Divine, Great Spirit, Source, God, Goddess, or any Element or Consciousness that you want to communicate with and receive connection from.

It is a two-way relationship that opens the heart, connects with the sacred, and powers bigger than us.

Invocations bring beauty, joy, peace, healing, and hope into our lives.

The art of writing, speaking, or singing Invocations is creative and sacred and lifts our spirits.

Shared together, the act of creating and performing Invocations, Prayers, and Meditations multiplies the power and heartfelt energies and unity of purpose.

Even experienced alone they bring a sense of Oneness and Cosmic Connection.

In this section of the Website, I include Invocations, Prayers, Meditations that I have written myself, or have included because I like them, use them personally, and with others.

There is a large overlap in categories on this Website because in Shamanic Work, DreamWork, The Goddess and the Divine Feminine, and Healing Pathways we open our sacred work always with Invocations, Prayers, or Meditations, and always close with them.

Gratitude and Humility are always as important as our supplications and needs.

We are in Service to the Sacred and the Divine.

We are grateful, respectful, and humble for the Gift of Life and live in reverence of Life in all its forms, awe, power, wonder, and mystery.

Our aim in our lives is to build and deepen our Sacred Relationships so that we may grow and become more than when we first began.
