Meditation to The South

by Jamie Sams Sacred Path Cards

Birth and Childhood,

Imagination, Play, Wonder, Joy, Freedom

Faith Trust Humility

Intuition

Beauty

Snake, Coyote, Porcupine, Mouse

South Shield and Coyote

Red Earth, South shield

Child filled with wonder,

Coyote, Snake, teach me to yield.

Laughter is your Give-Away,

In innocence and Joy,

Bringing me into the place,

Of little girls and boys.

Coyote Medicine Dog

The Trickster

Teaching me how to yield

To be less serious and to lighten me up,

To Play, Have Fun and Joy,

To make me and others laugh

To illuminate the Shadow of myself and others

To illuminate illusions

Especially in self-sabotaging actions and beliefs of myself and others.

United, we Balance the World.

Meditation

As you enter your Sacred Garden, Invite Coyote towards you and ask if you can play with him, ride on his back, ask him to take you on a Journey back to happy times in your childhood or new experiences you would like to bring forward into your Life now. You fully Trust Coyote, that his mischievousness will reignite your younger Self’s sense of Play, Fun, Joy, and Adventure to explore nature, beauty, bright colours and other animals and nature Spirits that he can connect you with.

Allow yourself to feel Free and happy in your Body, with your senses of Imagination and let all your worries and cares fall away as you remember and reconnect back into your younger Self, knowing that Life and this World are here for YOU!

This is a time to be totally Free and to experience the limitlessness of this World and to create what YOU want in it. As you remember and reconnect with your Child-Self, allow yourself to feel the freedom in your body, the lightness, and drop away all your old habits, fears, patterns, like Snake shedding its skin, and Coyote laughing at the seriousness of adults and false Beliefs and Fears.

As you spend time with Coyote, Snake , Wolf, and other animals of the South, you allow yourself to feel the Freedom and Energies that re-instill themselves back into your Body and become the Unified, Wise and Carefree Soul you have always been. You are able to remember who you always have been and always will be – independent, strong, loving, kind, joyful, imaginative and Free. You will take your experiences of these travels, connections and knowledge with you, back out into the World fortified, reinvigorated, strong, wise and unified in your Bigger, Larger and Truer Self.

Mitakue Oyasin!
