Card Decks for Inspiration, Reflection, & Guidance
I use a large range of Oracle Cards for Visual Stimulation, Symbols, Themes and Archetypes in my Counselling, Dream, Shamanic and Healing Pathways processes.
I encourage people to come up with their own responses, insights, guidance and empowerment.
I find Cards are very useful for meditation as gateways into imaginative realms.
I use different layouts for different occasions and goals.
Archetypes
Jung made the use of the word Archetype popular and it is used generally as a theme that relates to the energy associated with specific themes, symbols, images, thoughts.
Archetype was of Latin origin from the Greek word "arkhetupon" which meant "Something moulded from primitive origins" i.e. first or original version.
Jung also believed that the energies of Archetypes lived or were held in the Collective Unconscious as well as the Personal Unconscious.
Common understanding is that they represent themes and energies in our lives that are affecting us either consciously or unconsciously.
Jung observed the existence of four main Archetypes: The Self (Higher or Spiritual Self), Shadow, Persona, and Animus/Anima.
Within these four main Archetypes existed other important ones such as: the Mother, Father, Hero, and Trickster which are all different parts of our personality, behaviours, and internal worlds.
Clues to the power of the Archetypes can be observed through Dreams, Myths, and Stories within our cultures, across all cultures, and within our own lives.
Using Cards as stimulation for symbols, dreams, memories, and desires, or fears can help work with the themes and energy/power of Archetypes to uncover insight, guidance, healing and empowerment in your life.
The Tarot and most Card Decks are based on these common Archetypes, Myths, Stories, and Symbols that have been obserevd and worked with thorughout history along with the Qabalah and other esoteric and spiritual rituals.
The Hero's Journey and the work of Joseph Campbell, based on Jung's work with Archetypes, is now recognised as a common story that has been told and sought for guidance and wisdom throughout history, and is now the template for many modern films, plays, stories, and dance and art-work.
With Animal Cards, each represents a specific energy, theme and archetype, message of wisdom and warning.
Each card deck tells different stories with different characters, or plants, animals, crystals, Gods and Goddesses to help you find inspiration and healing.
Some Card Decks are based on different cultural and Spiritual Lineages.
Again, there is much overlapping because humans are dealing with the same common life questions, challenges, hopes. and fears.
It is amazing how much the Card Decks vary in presentation, themes, art-work, and information accompanying the cards.
Yet all over something as stimulation and Divination for deeper insights, synchronicities, guidance and healing.

You are Light and part of the Cosmos and of Nature
Coming into Relationship with your Soul
Your Oversoul or Amakua, which births you into this world and is Your Higher Self and remains in the Cosmos as well as part of it birthing itself into this World of Earth.
Your Physical and Emotional Soul or Ku, and
Your Mental Creative Soul or Lono using the Cosmology of Hale Makua and Hawaiian Mysticism.
Egyptian Mysticism knows and honours 9 Soul parts.
“We all come here to this beautiful earth to grow and increase,
to become more than we were before,
and to enjoy ourselves.
We also come here to remember our Divine Origins,
which is only possible through one vehicle:
through the experience of Love for one another.”
“It’s through the experience of love,
that we remember who and what we really are,
and where we came from.
That reveals that all of us are Star People.”
“We came from the stars and will return.”
– Hale Makua/ Hank Wesselman.
